Yes - absolutely. You are warmly welcome to reach out, and we can explore together whether it feels like the right fit.
Couples therapy works best when both partners are in the same room during online sessions. If needed, sessions from different locations may be possible occasionally but not regularly.
Yes. Many people come to therapy with insight, self-awareness, and years of inner work - yet still feel stuck. Change often happens not only through understanding, but through new emotional experiences, nervous system regulation, and a healing therapeutic relationship. This deeper work is often most meaningful in longer-term therapy.
Yes. I welcome mixed-culture and international couples.
I am LGBTQ friendly.
I understand that cultural backgrounds, communication styles, migration, identity, and life experience can all affect relationship dynamics.
Yes. I teach evidence-based mindfulness approaches, including MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy), as well as trauma-sensitive mindfulness.
These approaches are widely used to support stress reduction, emotional wellbeing, resilience, and a healthier relationship with thoughts, emotions and feelings.
The aim of the course is to build a clear theoretical understanding of mindfulness practice, while learning primarily through direct experience and integrating practical tools with a focus on reducing stress and tension.
The course usually includes one meeting per week, together with home practice between sessions, supported by recorded guided meditations and learning partnerships, ideally once a day.
During our meetings, we explore and understand the foundations of mindfulness practice, engage in a variety of guided exercises, make space for questions, and reflect on what arose during home practice.
The first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and begin with an experiential practice.
There is no obligation to continue if it does not feel like the right fit.
To complete the course, a minimum of 8 weekly sessions is needed, and many people find value in continuing beyond that.
